Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati Issues Request for Proposals -- $1 Million in Grants Available for Projects Addressing Mental Illness and Substance Use Disorders in the Criminal Justice System
Grant dollars will be divided between planning and start-up projects, and will be awarded on a competitive basis. The Health Foudnation intends to fund another round of programs in 2007.
Letters of intent must be submitted no later than 12:00 noon (EDT) on Wednesday, April 19, 2006.
If invited to submit a proposal, completed proposals must be submitted no later than 12:00 noon (EDT) on Wednesday, June 21, 2006.
A letter of intent workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, March 21, 2006, from 1:00 -- 3:00 pm., at the Health Foundation Conference Facility.
The Health Foudnation is interested in funding collaborative projects between the criminal justice and mental health systems that are directed at either diversion or re-entry for juveniles or adults.
