Description:
Rutherford County will use the planning grant to develop a mental health court. The planning process will 1) promote education around the criminalization of people with mental illnesses; 2) allow for training of key individuals in the process of development of a Mental Health Court; and 3) serve as a measure to promote treatment for those individuals with mental illnesses in the community.
