Description:
Jackson County will use the Strategic Intercept Model to develop targeted strategies to increase the diversion of people with mental illnesses from the criminal justice system. They will begin the planning process by collecting data, both quantitative and qualitative via interviews. Stakeholders will then meet to examine and analyze the data in order to develop a program that will best suit their jurisdictional needs.
