Background information:
We learned about the program through Lee's Summit PD and sent several people to the initial training. We are involved in all aspects, including CIT Council board members, activities throughout the community, and helping other agencies set up their programs.

    For Jackson County, I am the program coordinator. This is a multi-jurisdictional initiative, so each law enforcement agency has its own program coordinator.
