Description:
The Bexar County Juvenile Mental Health Task Force will create a plan to improve local policies and practices relative to system-involved youth with mental illnesses by 1) critically examining existing approaches and resources; 2) identifying gaps and areas of need; 3) reviewing best practices; and 4) developing a profile of a target population. The Task Force will examine the juvenile mental health court model and plans to focus on system-involved girls with mental illnesses as the initial target population.
