Judge Jennie Barkey's Juvenile Mental Health Court sees progress

6/24/09 MLive.com— There have been some bad weeks, but for the half-dozen kids in Probate Judge Jennie Barkey's Juvenile Mental Health Court, the good weeks are becoming more frequent. In the nearly two months since the new court program began, Barkey has started to see changes in the kids who once seemed destined to spend their lives in and out of the criminal system.
