Share Your Mental Health Court Photos!
The Council of State Governments Justice Center invites you to send photos from your mental health court, which will be used in the Bureau of Justice Assistance-supported Developing a Mental Health Court: An Interdisciplinary Curriculum. Photos can be of program participants, a program event (e.g., graduation ceremony), a courthouse, members of the court/treatment team, or something else that reflects your efforts and good work.
The mental health court curriculum will include a series of online modules and user guides with activities, discussion questions, and resources for further learning. Judges, attorneys, clinicians, community corrections officers, and behavioral health administrators will be able to use it when considering whether a mental health court would be appropriate in their jurisdiction and to move forward with planning once committed to implementing a court. The curriculum will be available for free download in Spring 2012, and will be announced in this newsletter.
