CJJR’s Certificate Program for Private Sector Leaders

The Center for Juvenile Justice Reform (CJJR) at Georgetown University holds a weeklong certificate program of intensive study for private sector leaders responsible for leading change in their organizations. It takes place from October 22-28, 2010 in Washington, D.C. and focuses on policies, programs and practices related to crossover youth (children and youth who are known to multiple systems of care, particularly juvenile justice and child welfare).

The purpose of the program is to bring together current and future leaders in private organizations (service providers, foundations, academic institutions, advocacy organizations and others) to increase their knowledge about multi-system reform efforts related to crossover youth, improve the operation of their organizations in serving this population, provide an opportunity for the development of collaborative leadership skills, and create a mutually supportive network of individuals across the country committed to systems reform. Applications are due on July 27, 2010.
