Conference of Chief Justices passes resolution in support of the JLI

In a resolution passed by its members in January 2006, the Conference of Chief Justices unanimously supported the efforts of the JLI and encouraged chief justices to take a lead role in addressing the issue of people with mental illnesses in the criminal justice system.
